How can I have my official documents legalized in Alberta?

Requests to have documents authenticated in Alberta may be forwarded to the Official Documents and Appointments branch of Alberta Justice, room 111, Bowker Building, 9833 - 109 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 2E8. Requests are also handled in person on a first-come, first-served basis.

For authentication the following will be required: the document -- signed, sealed and dated by an Alberta lawyer or Notary Public; $10 (Canadian funds) payable to the Government of Alberta for each document to be authenticated; and a return address so that materials may be returned.
