When, and how often, will recalculations be done?

Once a child support order is registered with RP, recalculations will normally be done once each year. RP will aim to have the recalculated child support amount effective on the anniversary date of the court order.

Payors and recipients of child support have the option to agree in writing to waive (skip) a recalculation in any year. If RP receives the written waiver from the parents, they will not recalculate for that year.
