When, and how often, will recalculations be done?

Once a child support order is registered with RP, recalculations will normally be done each year. RP will aim to have the recalculated child support amount effective on the anniversary date of the court order.

Payors and recipients of child support will have the option to agree in writing to skip or waive a recalculation in any year. If RP receives the written waiver from the parents, they will not recalculate for that year.
