We invite you to read about the diverse practice areas our professional legal team provides to government ministries.
As part of our Legal Services division, solicitors play an increasingly vital role in implementing government programs and initiatives in areas from Aboriginal to environmental law, family law to wills and estates matters, and nearly all areas of law in between. It is a unique opportunity to play a major role in not only interpreting the law, but also in formulating it.
The Litigation Group within Alberta Justice plays an essential role in representing the Government of Alberta. Our litigators are involved in a wide range of activities, including preventative law, management of complex litigation, and related strategic advice. The range of work is extremely broad and can include almost any aspect of provincial life - human rights, health, environment, education, public works, alternative dispute resolution, to name a few.
We support our legal team by offering a balanced and supportive workplace environment together with a comprehensive benefit package.
